About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive
Lead a functional business area and manage a team of analysts, serving as the critical analytical and strategic link between execution and high-level strategy, while driving growth and profitability by developing, testing, and implementing data-driven strategies for credit risk, customer acquisition, and engagement within your assigned domain.
What you will do
Achieve a measurable improvement in overall portfolio credit performance by identifying and mitigating key risk drivers, actively overseeing risk trends, and implementing refined acquisition or policy strategies that demonstrably balance growth and risk.
Design, model, and launch at least one major strategic initiative (e.g., new product terms, pricing model, or customer targeting segment) that drives significant, quantifiable growth in customer acquisition or engagement within your region/function.
Establish a robust talent development plan for your direct team, resulting in clear growth trajectories, measurable skill improvements (e.g., modeling, SQL mastery), and high retention among high-performing analysts.

Lead the full lifecycle of a cross-functional business transformation project (e.g., a process automation, a technology integration, or a strategy shift) from defining the problem framework to leading implementation, resulting in a measurable improvement in quality, volume, or profitability.

Apply Demonstrated Experience in Making Data-Driven Decisions and Solving Problems
Possess 3+ years of experience in business analysis, with a demonstrated history of solving complex problems through quantitative analysis (minimum of 2 years required).
Ideally, your background includes at least 2 years focused on retail lending strategy (e.g., credit cards, unsecured loans).
Experience in a consulting role for 2+ years is a significant advantage.
Have a proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment.
Exhibit Exceptional Analytical Rigor to Deconstruct Ambiguity
Consistently use rigorous, data-driven analysis to solve complex business challenges and identify opportunities, seamlessly blending conceptual thinking with a strong quantitative approach, especially in managing credit risk.
Have the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks, leading to actionable recommendations supported by robust data.
Maintain an unwavering commitment to finding the truth in data, using rigorous quantitative analysis to solve complex business challenges.
Demonstrate mastery of SQL, writing complex queries from scratch to deconstruct ambiguity and validate hypotheses with precision.
Possess Strong Commercial Acumen, Connecting Analytical Insights to Business Profitability
Be a decisive and tenacious decision-maker who brings a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to the business, acting as the guardian of credit quality and risk appetite.
Have experience making tough credit policy decisions that balance growth with risk, even in fluid or uncertain situations.
Intuitively connect data insights to the lending P&L, consistently framing your recommendations in terms of their commercial impact.
Excel at Cross-Functional Leadership and Execution
Possess impeccable written and oral communication skills, coupled with the ability to strategically influence and gain agreement from colleagues across various functions (IT, Sales, Operations, Finance).
Showcase the ability to clearly articulate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders and effectively negotiate to drive improvements in quality, volume, and profitability.
Act as a central leadership node, using strategic influence to gain agreement and ensure all functions are moving in the same direction.

A more in-depth conversation with a Business Manager, where we explore your skills, experience, and a problem-solving exercise. We want to understand how you think and work.Step 3: Director Interview + Live Business Case (60 min)
You will meet our Director of lending to discuss real scenarios to assess your analytical thinking, operational judgment under pressure, and ability to act autonomously to tackle business issues and drive timely decisions.-
Step 4: Stakeholder Interview (30 min)
A conversation with the Chief Credit Officer to Assess your ability to negotiate and drive initiatives to improve business metrics.
Step 5: Co-Founder Interview (30 min)
The final step is a conversation with our Co-founder. This is a chance to connect directly with one of our founders and have a high-level discussion about our values, our mission, and the exceptionally high bar we set for talent at Addi.
