About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Partner with Operations leaders to ensure the organization can execute reliably at scale. They will help build a disciplined, engaged, and productive operation by strengthening workforce planning, frontline leadership capability, and fair, consistent people practices in a fast-paced fintech environment.

What you will do

  • Partner with Operations leaders to build workforce plans and org structures that meet volume, productivity, and service-level needs. Staffing models, role mixes, and capacity assumptions are clearly defined and reviewed regularly, resulting in fewer staffing gaps, reduced firefighting, and improved predictability in meeting SLAs.

  • Clear role definitions, ways of working, and performance expectations are in place across Operations teams. A consistent performance and discipline framework is applied by frontline leaders, leading to fewer role-related escalations, faster performance corrections, and improved accountability at the team level.

  • Employee relations issues are handled consistently, fairly, and in line with policy and local labor requirements. Case resolution times improve, repeat issues decrease, and leaders feel supported in addressing issues early—reducing operational disruption and legal or reputational risk.

  • Frontline leaders demonstrate improved people management skills, including feedback, performance management, and engagement. Measurable improvements are seen in key indicators such as attrition, absenteeism, engagement, or team productivity within supported areas.

  • People policies and programs are translated into clear, practical guidance for Operations leaders and teams. Policies are consistently understood and applied, with fewer exceptions, misunderstandings, or escalations caused by misalignment between policy and operational reality.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in operational and high-volume environments

  • Hands-on experience supporting Operations, Call Center, or frontline teams with volume, SLA, and productivity pressures.

  • Strong understanding of workforce dynamics such as shift models, capacity planning, and efficiency metrics.

  • Ability to align people practices with operational execution needs.

Demonstrates a pragmatic, hands-on HRBP approach

  • Comfortable being close to the business and engaging directly with leaders and frontline managers.

  • Focuses on practical solutions over theoretical or overly complex frameworks.

  • Acts quickly and decisively while maintaining sound judgment.

Track record of balancing empathy with performance standards

  • Supports leaders in holding clear performance expectations while maintaining fairness and respect.

  • Coaches managers through difficult conversations, corrective actions, and terminations when needed.

  • Maintains trust with employees without compromising operational standards.

Possesses solid expertise in employee relations and compliance

  • Strong knowledge of labor regulations, internal policies, and ER best practices.

  • Experience managing ER cases in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

  • Able to assess risk and guide leaders through compliant, defensible decisions.

Demonstrates resilience and comfort with fast decision-making

  • Thrives in environments with urgency, competing priorities, and frequent change.

  • Remains calm and effective under pressure or during operational incidents.

  • Adapts quickly while maintaining consistency and fairness.

    You'll meet future colleagues and cross-functional team members to get a feel for how we work together. We’re looking for strong contributors and cultural fits, so bring your questions, too!

  • Step 4: Business Case (3-5 Days)

    You may receive a real-world challenge or case study to complete. This is a chance to showcase your expertise and how you approach key problems relevant to the role.

  • Step 6: Co-Founder Interview (30 min)

    If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
