About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive
Drive exponential GMV growth and market dominance within Addi’s fastest-growing vertical by leading a high-performance team of Success Managers. You will serve as the strategic lead for Addi's most critical retail partnerships, ensuring 100% alignment between merchant goals and Addi’s product suite, while coaching your team to deliver world-class commercial excellence and long-term partner retention.
What you will do
Deliver Quarter-over-Quarter GMV growth across the vertical portfolio by designing and executing "Vertical Growth Playbooks," resulting in the vertical hitting its annual revenue contribution targets.
Increase Share of Wallet (SoW) by institutionalizing Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and deploying the "Marketing Machine" (PACs and Vendor Vault) across 100% of the vertical's Key Accounts.
Achieve a 100% Success Rate in Team Performance by coaching and developing 2 direct reports, ensuring every team member hits their individual KPIs for merchant activation and GMV expansion.
Secure 100% Net Revenue Retention (NRR) for Tier 1 accounts by identifying churn signals 60 days in advance and deploying "Success Recovery Plans" to mitigate any potential revenue leakage.

Improve Merchant Operational Efficiency by reducing support ticket resolution time by 25% through the creation of standardized merchant training materials and optimized communication SLAs with the Operations team.

Sets a high bar for performance and provides consistent, radical candor in feedback to accelerate the growth of the 2 direct reports.
Shifts from "doing the work" to "guiding the work," ensuring the team can manage complex accounts autonomously without losing quality.
Builds repeatable frameworks (playbooks) that allow the team to scale their impact across a larger number of merchants.
Strategic Commercial Acumen
Positions Addi not just as a payment method, but as a strategic solution to the merchant's core business problems (e.g., conversion, liquidity).
Navigates complex organizational structures within Key Accounts to build consensus among C-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
Constantly identifies "low-hanging fruit" and expansion opportunities within the existing portfolio to maximize revenue.
Extreme Ownership & Accountability
Takes full "blame" for failures and full responsibility for solutions, never pointing fingers at Product, Tech, or the merchants.
Operates with high urgency, resolving roadblocks immediately rather than waiting for instructions or consensus.
Maintains a results-oriented focus during high-pressure seasons (e.g., Black Friday) or when facing unexpected technical challenges.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Uses tools like Looker and Salesforce to identify hidden trends, churn risks, and performance gaps within the vertical.
Bases all commercial pitches and internal resource requests on hard data and clear ROI projections.
Regularly tracks and reports on GMV trajectories, ensuring leadership has a clear and realistic view of the vertical's health.
Customer-Centric Agility
Understands the merchant’s operational reality and "speaks their language," whether it's finance, marketing, or logistics.
Works cross-functionally to adapt Addi’s offerings to meet specific vertical needs without compromising product scalability.
Stays ahead of retail and fintech trends to ensure Addi remains the most competitive partner in the merchant's ecosystem.
Prior background in:
4-7 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, or Strategy roles.
Proven track record managing B2B client portfolios and delivering commercial impact.
Experience in fintech, SaaS, payments, retail tech, or e-commerce platforms is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of digital checkout flows, embedded finance, or merchant onboarding is a plus.
