What’s the mission you’ll drive

Enhance the merchant experience by designing intuitive and effective solutions that streamline onboarding, increase sales, and foster long-term engagement, ultimately boosting business growth.

What you will do

  • Gain a profound understanding of our merchants' experience with Addi, clearly defining their journey and pinpointing critical pain points.

  • Increase the activation rate of new merchants.

  • Achieve an increase in the average purchase frequency of merchants' customers through design-led improvements to the merchant and customer experience.

  • Improve merchant conversion rate, contributing to increased GMV.

  • Define and document the end-to-end merchant journey, identifying critical pain points and leading to prioritized design solutions.

  • Successfully launch new features based on user research and data analysis that directly address identified merchant needs and contribute to increased engagement.

What we’re looking for

  • User-Centered Design Expertise

    • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.

    • Proven track record of applying UX/UI principles and best practices to design and optimize user interfaces for complex B2B products or experiences.

    • Proficiency in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating research insights into actionable design decisions.

    • Experience in mapping user journeys, workflows, and creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma.

    • Strong understanding of holistic user flows across funnels.

    • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and a data-driven approach to design.

  • User Interface (UI) and Visual Design

    • Strong visual design skills with a focus on user-friendliness, clarity, and attention to detail.

    • Nice to have: Experience with UX writing and content.

  • Strategic Thinking and Execution

    • Ability to define and drive the design vision for the merchant platform initiatives with minimal supervision.

    • Proactive and resourceful in identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing solutions for the merchant experience.

    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and turned it into actionable insights.

  • Ownership and Accountability

    • Demonstrates initiative by identifying and addressing merchant experience challenges and taking responsibility for outcomes.

    • Ability to take ownership of projects from conception to delivery.

    • Committed to delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines effectively, with an understanding of good time estimation.

  • Stakeholder Management

    • Ability to articulate design vision, user insights, and project progress to diverse stakeholders.

    • Ability to influence stakeholders through clear explanations and data-driven justifications.

    • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.

    • Acts as a strong user advocate, effectively communicating merchant needs and perspectives to stakeholders.

  • Communication Skills

    • Manages and incorporates constructive feedback from various stakeholders and users to iterate on designs.

    • Document the design processes, decisions, and specifications for effective stakeholder understanding.

How the hiring process looks like

We believe in a fast, transparent, and engaging hiring experience that allows both you and us to determine if there's a great fit. Here’s what our process looks like:

  • Step 1: People Interview (30 min)
    A conversation with a recruiter to get to know you, your experience, and what you're looking for. We’ll also share more about Addi, our culture, and the role.

  • Step 2: Initial Interview (45 min)
    A more in-depth conversation with the hiring manager, where we explore your skills, experience, and problem-solving approach. We want to understand how you think and work.

  • Step 3: Deep Dive interview (45 min)
    You'll meet future colleagues and cross-functional team members to get a feel for how we work together. We’re looking for strong contributors and cultural fits, so bring your questions, too!

  • Step 4: Business Case (3-5 Days)
    You may receive a real-world challenge or case study to complete. This is a chance to showcase your expertise and how you approach key problems relevant to the role.

  • Step 5: Product Deep Dive Interview (30 min)

    A conversation with your Product Manager to discuss product strategy, technical trade-offs, and collaboration. Be ready to showcase how your design decisions and product delivery align with business and user needs.

  • Step 6: Stakeholder Interview (30 min)

    If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
