About Anomalo
Data management solutions accounted for more than one-fifth of all enterprise infrastructure spend in 2021. The “modern data stack” promises a centralized data platform for powering valuable new applications, from AI-powered products to real-time analytics.

Unfortunately, a big problem stands in the way of most data projects and products – the issue of data quality. Rules-based data quality approaches that worked when data was small and tightly controlled don’t scale. And with more data sources, transformations, and users, quality issues are multiplying fast. The vast majority of issues go uncaught—until they lead to an expensive fire drill.

Anomalo is a SaaS solution that plugs directly into the modern data stack and automatically monitors tables for a wide range of data quality issues. Our software uses unsupervised learning to catch deep problems in the data, like sudden changes in the distribution, that aren’t covered by static rules or basic observability. With built-in root cause analysis, Anomalo shows not only whether data is anomalous but also why and what the impact is. This prevents data issues from reaching dashboards, reports, and products, while data teams spend less time debugging and more time building.

We’re rapidly growing and work with some of the biggest brands leveraging data today, like Block, Discover Financial Services, Buzzfeed, and Notion. The company has raised over $39M in seed and Series A funding backed by top-tier venture firms like Norwest Venture Partners, Foundation Capital, Two Sigma Ventures, and First Round Capital.

Anomalo is looking for a part-time, contract employee to help scale our solution partner program.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the development and support for a solution partner program. Working cross-functionally across the company, this individual will create and execute business strategies with solution partners including systems integrators, agencies and global resellers with the intent of driving new business to Anomalo. The role requires an individual with the experience, communication skills, and energy to operate in a wide spectrum of situations. This position will report to the Vice President of Business Development.

What you’ll do as Business Development Manager, Solution Partnerships:

  • Work side by side with the Vice President of Business Development to grow the overall channel partnership strategy for the company and the mechanisms necessary to support an ecosystem at scale
  • Effectively manage existing partner relationships, developing rapport with key decision makers and identifying sell-through or sell-with opportunities with partners
  • Identify and unlock new business opportunities by pitching Anomalo’s product to third party solution partners, and structuring agreements that drive Anomalo’s overall strategy and expansion goals
  • Onboard and create partner enablement materials to align partners to our mission and vision in the market
  • Report back regularly to your key stakeholders on partner activation, engagement and revenue numbers

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Knowledge of the Modern Data Stack and Cloud Data Warehouses (i.e. Snowflake Databricks, Google Bigquery) are a must. Given this is a part time role, we will need this person to ramp quickly.
  • Over 8 years of professional experience, with 5+ years in partner or sales development in the software/technology industry
  • Experience managing joint GTM success with global companies, including development and tracking of joint sell-with and sell-through business activities and partner programs
  • Strong written, oral and social communication skills-should be able to pitch Anomalo to executives at partner companies
  • A focus on execution and revenue generation
  • Ability to travel (up to 25%) in support of above responsibilities

Compensation range:

  • The estimated hourly rate for for this role is $100-200 per hour. A travel stipend will be provided.

This is a part time position, with the option to become a full-time employee. Contractor will be paid hourly, and expected to work 10-20 hours per week for 3-6 months. Benefits will not be provided since this is a contract position.
