Anyscale is actively seeking an experienced Head of Solutions to scale our customer facing technical operations. This role offers an extraordinary opportunity to lead and grow our presales Solutions Architecture, post sales Field Engineering, and Customer Support operations, directly influencing our product development and overall company direction.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the technology sector, including at least 3 years of managing high-performing teams, and a track record of scaling organizations. A solid background in machine learning frameworks and cloud infrastructure is essential, as well as at least 5 years of customer-facing roles interfacing at the executive level. Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is highly desirable.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead our presales Solutions Architecture team, Field Engineering team, and Customer Support teams to ensure optimal performance and service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Sales to improve the sales process, increase pipeline throughput, and grow Anyscale adoption
  • Collaborate with Sales and Leadership on Anyscale’s overall go to market strategy
  • Develop robust processes and reporting mechanisms to define KPIs that align with our rapidly evolving business
  • Continuously improve team processes through tracking and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to drive cross-functional programs that enhance our product and grow company revenue
  • Actively participate as a member of the Anyscale leadership team, contributing key insights and feedback from your teams to shape our company and product strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer executive teams to gain business alignment and secure strategic deals

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the technology sector
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles at the executive level
  • 3+ years managing high-performing teams
  • Proven track record of scaling customer facing technical organizations like Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, and Customer Support
  • Demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding sales and performance targets
  • Strong background in machine learning frameworks and cloud infrastructure
  • Startup experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • In-depth understanding of distributed computing, with familiarity with Ray considered a distinct advantage
