About This Role:

As Senior Data Analyst, Finance, you will be responsible for designing and delivering sustainable analytics solutions that enable critical financial operations. As an embedded member of the finance organization, you will work closely with all finance functions to ensure timely delivery of data. The successful candidate will have an understanding of using financial data analytics to support the back-office functions of a fast growing organization. You will partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury and Tax teams to ensure data accuracy and timeliness that supports compliance, financial transparency, and operational efficiency in a crypto-native environment.

You’re not only strong in execution and delivery, but also comfortable managing strategy and working with ambiguity.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements and design sustainable processes to support the business needs of the Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, & Regulatory Reporting Functions

  • Design, create, and maintain Tableau dashboards to provide stakeholders access to the financial data needed for continued business operations

  • FP&A – Automate and validate management reporting data requirements, build dashboards for repeated analysis, maintain data dictionary of internal KPIs

  • Treasury – reporting & analysis for crypto / fiat activities, analysis of asset holding composition, reconciliations across different asset classes & wallets

  • Tax – Support tax information reporting and ongoing customer reporting requirements

  • Regulatory Reporting – quarterly requirements for MTL reporting, state by state reporting, ad hoc requests for regulatory requests

  • Accounting – Automate month end close data processes, improve blockchain reconciliations, and support audits / ad hoc requests

  • Design and build tools for the finance team to help in automating recurring processes

  • Provide technical leadership & translation of finance / business concepts & processes to the broader data organization

  • Assist in the buildout and execution of the Finance Data strategy and roadmap

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years of industry experience in financial modeling, data analytics and visualization

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline: finance, economics, accounting, data analytics, or the equivalent of training, certifications, and work experience

  • Prior experience supporting one or more finance functions: Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, or Regulatory Reporting

  • Understanding of the U.S. GAAP accounting principles is a BIG plus.

  • Familiarity with at least one BI Tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)

  • Proficiency in using SQL for big data analysis with minimal supervision

  • Beginner-level knowledge of R / Python / PySpark a plus

  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite) is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Demonstrated experience with creating reports, dashboards, and/or summarizing large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions

  • Ideal candidate has their CPA & has gone through a bootcamp / analytics program / can demonstrate technical skills

Salary:

The starting pay range for this role is between USD$135,000 - USD$155,000 for all U.S. remote locations. The actual base pay will vary, and is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skill sets, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change.
