About the Role:
As a Principal Product Manager for our Foundations product area, you will be responsible for defining, evangelizing and executing on a product vision and strategy that enables CaptivateIQ to become the system of record for sales compensation. You will do this by (1) evolving our workflow automation capabilities to make it easy for admins to self-manage complex business processes, (2) delivering end to end integration experiences that are easy for admins to consume and (3) delivering enterprise features to service the needs of larger organizations. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with enterprise IT requirements, a passion for scale and self service and the ability to to build for multiple personas. You will have a direct impact on supporting continued differentiation in sales compensation management and expansion into adjacent markets by building the foundation on which those products are built and the user experiences necessary to easily integrate, setup, and manage those products at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish shared vision across the company to build strong alignment and drive world-class execution.
  • Build empathy for customer personas by working directly with customers and internal teams.
  • Become an expert on the product surface area you are responsible for as well as relevant industry and market trends to adapt strategies and roadmaps toward changing needs.
  • Leverage data to continually inform product evolution and drive customer adoption of product capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Design and Engineering to research, design and build product experiences that customers love.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience to ensure Product and GTM are strongly aligned.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of product management (or equivalent) experience at high-growth, product-driven B2B SaaS companies.
  • Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated history building end-user experiences for admin personas.
  • A platform-oriented skill set and ability to build features and products that can be integrated with across the entire product and platform surface area.
  • Deep understanding of how your products work together — and what levers equate to short v. long-term success. You can quickly understand and translate results and how they ladder up to the larger goal set.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and experience managing and communicating complex projects across organizational boundaries with many stakeholders.
  • A do-what-it-takes attitude and demonstrated track record of achieving ambitious goals, that deliver measurable business value, in fast paced environments, with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent ability to create clarity, make hard decisions, and communicate customer needs and distill them into clear requirements for product, design, and engineering teams.
