Responsibilities
  • Key member of the monthly and quarterly worldwide accounting close
  • Manage close activities such as journal entries, reconciliations and the monthly and quarterly financial close meetings with other cross-functional teams
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly consolidated financial results and analytical review procedures on significant changes to senior management and business partners
  • Maintain chart of accounts and other accounting system information
  • Perform technical research and ensure that proper GAAP accounting treatment is performed for all transactions
  • Write technical accounting memos
  • Implementation and adherence to SOX 404 controls
  • Responsible for SOX compliance activities, including executing on controls, updating SOX documentation, and supporting testing efforts
  • Act as the liaison with external auditors for quarterly reviews and the annual audit ensuring timely completion of audit requests
  • Manage all aspects of inventory and cost accounting functions both at corporate headquarters and contract manufacturers.
  • Analyze cost impacts of product design changes, raw materials, and manufacturing methods.
  • Handle inventory valuation, margin reporting, and physical inventory.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
  • Meet strict deadlines.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of public and Industry accounting experience and a CPA certification
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills; knowledge of US GAAP
  • 3+ years of cost accounting in hardware and ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Experience working in an internal controls/SOX compliant environment
  • Experience with systems and process implementation and improvement
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter with results and goal-oriented mindset, ability to problem solve, prioritize and multi-task
  • Experience in enabling and managing teams.
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate complex issues effectively when engaging with management and various stakeholders throughout the company
  • A high degree of proficiency in MS Excel
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in Semiconductor industry a plus
