About The Role

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy professional with a proven track record of directly selling to federal government agencies. In this role, you will be an integral part of a small, forward-thinking team responsible for rapidly growing the revenue contribution of our cloud-attached AI accelerators. This full-time position requires close working relationships with Cerebras solutions architects, sales engineers, and product management to drive revenue. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales cycle, including sales strategy, targeting, sales execution, forecasting, and account management.

  • Lead the company's federal government business development, strategic planning and sales execution efforts
  • Drive the development of a pipeline of MEDDICC qualified sales opportunities
  • Evangelize and directly sell Cerebras products and services to federal government agencies
  • Partner with Product Management to structure components of large strategic on-prem and hosted offerings
  • Act as the key point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of prospects
  • Build key existing accounts into strategic partners
  • Drive sustained revenue, market share growth, and product footprint
  • 5+ years of experience successfully leading federal government sales in a startup environment
  • Proven track record of large-scale sales to government institutions
  • Intricate familiarity with government procurement processes.
  • Strong relationship with system integrators in the federal government
  • Effective at building senior and executive relationships with key agency stakeholders
  • Track record of successfully growing revenue for new innovative technology solutions
  • Strong analytical thinker with demonstrated command of metrics-driven sales models
  • Ability to travel per business needs once or twice per quarter
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
  • MEDDICC experience is a plus
