JOB MISSION:

We are looking for an experienced and talented web developer with a self-starter attitude to help create compelling, efficient, and accessible web experiences to enhance and maintain the Corporate Website, Blog, and international web properties. You will primarily collaborate with other members of Marketing (Web Developers, QA Marketing Operations, and Content production) to deliver great user experiences, and market awareness activities. The role is responsible for full-stack website development and content production/publishing in the WordPress Content Management platform on multiple projects with overlapping timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop code to build components, templates, and feature enhancements for our content management system.
• Work with web marketers, campaign managers, creative/UX teams, and other functions to develop new capabilities and/or enhance existing capabilities to support business objectives and enhance the desired customer experience.
• Partnering with managers to move a project through development and launch.
• Must have experience in production code build processes, and deployments.
• Experience in traditional code review sessions with your peers, augmenting with best practices and learnings, and ensuring code passes internal QA requirements
• Drive local content production and publishing needs.
• Monitor the daily queue of web change requests and make updates as required.
• Deliver timely releases that meet business requirements and stay on budget.
• Responsible for ongoing support and maintenance – it will include development, testing, debugging, and applying improvements in a dynamic production environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Min 7 years of hands-on experience with website development, content management systems, and web applications.
• Expertise in responsive web design and development.
• Technical and hands-on expertise in building and deploying web content management solutions including WordPress / Drupal.
• Development experience in PHP, HTML5, RESTful web services, JS, Jquery, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Extensive experience with WordPress custom page/post templates and development with advanced custom fields or similar plugins.
• Performing cross-browser testing and remediation for front-end and server-side performance with a focus on visual quality control and holistic performance
• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket
• Agile development experience.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience working with US-based Marketing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Performing cross-browser testing and remediation for front-end and server-side performance with a focus on visual quality control and holistic performance
• Experience in ​​managing content production and publishing needs.
