The sales team at Cohesity is on a mission to help organizations around the world find limitless value from their data. Our customer-obsessed account executives are focused on building new businesses while expanding the value of Cohesity for existing customers.

As an Account Executive, you will be an individual contributor focused on showcasing the value of Cohesity’s products/solutions in the Ottawa, Canada region, reporting to John Lundie. We are looking to expand our dedicated sales team with individuals who have a history of success selling to executive level customers while understanding the competitive landscape, as well as having extensive knowledge of our domains.

We are a passionate team of customer-obsessed sellers with a desire to reinvent the way organizations think about data management in the Federal sector. We are looking to expand our talented sales team with individuals who have a history of success selling to executive-level customers while understanding the competitive landscape, as well as extensive knowledge of our domains.

How you'll spend your time here:

  • Drive satisfied customers while maintaining an accurate forecast and working with several channel partners.
  • Develop and handle sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process
  • Generating revenue and working closely with a network of Channel Partners to successfully sell the Cohesity solution.
  • Consistent track record of penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.
  • Define and implement sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Building a business case and establishing value: develop and present proposals to customers with information that demonstrates the ability of the Cohesity hyper-converged infrastructure solution to meet the customers’ business objectives.
  • Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to close business quarterly and annually.
  • Maintain and build existing executive relationships within the Government of Canada

We'd love to talk to you if you have many of the following:

  • 7+ years of success in a customer-facing sales role proposing related enterprise solutions at all levels of the Canadian Federal Government.
  • 5+ years of shown selling ability with Government of Canada departments and its agencies
  • Similar experience selling specifically to Shared Services Canada (SSC) along with its related departments and agencies it supports
  • Strong existing relationships working with Government of Canada executives
  • Proven understanding of Canadian Fed procurement practices and procurement vehicles.
  • Experience collaborating with customers and technology partners.
  • Comfortable working with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals.
  • Strong presentation skills in technical and business material to both small and large groups.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously.
  • Ability to travel with the needs of the role.
  • Proven experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients
