- Support M&A related diligence, including developing investment models, returns analysis, valuations, and exit scenarios. Develop executive level presentation materials related to strategic investments
- Support M&A related integration efforts, working with cross-functional collaborators on financial planning and alignment realization.
- Become a guide on Cohesity’s business model and how it benchmarks against competitors in the market
- Able to seamlessly transition from high-altitude / big picture to diving deep into details to uncover insights, perform financial and market analyses and synthesize a point of view to make recommendations to executive leadership.
- Influence across all levels from the front lines to C-suite through effective communication and partnership.
- Take on ambiguous, open-ended questions, plus quickly develop and iterate to develop a solution
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. We encourage you to apply should you meet many of these requirements and have the ability and interest to develop the others.
- 6+ years of related experience in business strategy, operations in tech companies, management consulting firms, or finance
- A consistent track record of delivering quantifiable business impact and running large corporate strategy and / or finance projects to desirable outcomes
- Outstanding critical and creative thinking skills including evaluating risks and contingencies, developing structure in ambiguous situations, connecting the dots and proven flexibility in accepting new insights and pivoting as needed.
- Ability to identify patterns and synthesize disparate data to explain problems and propose recommendations
- Experienced at breaking down problems to resolve key questions/issues, diagnose the root causes, and crafting realistic solutions that can be readily driven across the organization.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working across teams cross-functionally. Ability to efficiently partner, empower and encourage team members
- Executive-ready communication and problem-framing/solving skills, including experience working directly with and advising members of the C-suite
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while seamlessly transitioning from high-level to a detailed view
