Note: Hands-on Automation (e.g. Python) and prior FedRAMP experience are required for this role.

We are looking for passionate, out-of-the-box problem solvers who want to take pride in becoming part of our cloud journey. If you are passionate about scaling the cloud, supervising and maintaining a huge SAAS service, and being an integral part of deploying and handling a growing service then this opportunity is for you!

What you’ll do:

  • Architect to deploy and handle a scalable hosted service in AWS, Azure, or Google cloud.
  • Work with teams to build continuous integration and delivery models to quickly push changes into the service.
  • Build and architect secured hosting service. Address security threats like DDOS charges, takeovers of the computer and networks, etc.
  • Build an SLA model and design the fleet and monitoring capabilities to meet the SLA.
  • Build automation using python, Terraform, and Ansible to build a scalable infrastructure in GCP and AWS cloud.
  • Be on high alert to supervise the hosted service which enables our customers to route their network traffic swiftly and efficiently.
  • We need you to drive and discover the metrics that need to be monitored to proactively find issues in the fleet.
  • Work closely with engineering in the design phase to make sure you can plan the deployment model for the service. Collaborate with the teams to make course corrections to deploy at scale.
  • We think about security all the time and the DevOps Engineer would be accountable for deploying all the security measures by deploying a robust secured infrastructure.
  • Continuously monitor the security design of the infrastructure and the deployment architecture of the product and look for possible attacks from new threats.
  • Help in making the infrastructure ready for SOCs compliance.
  • Follow the organizational change and incident management procedures to deploy securely
  • Service our internal and external customers meeting the defined SLA.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years in the DevOps space or managing a SaaS/hosted service
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant experience in the DevOps field
  • Experience or Knowledge in the FedRAMP space.
  • Hands-on Python or another scripting language used to turn manually hand-crafted work into end-to-end automation
  • Have managed/deployed a fleet with any of the leading configuration management tools like Ansible, chef, etc
  • Worked closely with the development team in designing the product for deploying a service at scale
  • Managed 200 + servers on a day-to-day basis using automation
  • Experience in supporting SaaS environment and was in a pager rotation
  • Strong Linux skills and hands-on experience in solving issues
  • Hands-on Docker experience in previous roles
  • Exposure to pipeline building and played a key role in continuous integration/Deployment
  • Experienced in AWS and GCP environments. Strong AWS expertise is a plus.

Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
US Pay Range
$126,000$173,250 USD
