Cohesity is looking for an experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join our team. The Principal Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in providing strategic insights and analysis on the competitive landscape to guide decision-making within the organization. Equipped with these valuable insights, you will be asked to develop competitive collateral to enable the Cohesity field teams and external partners to successfully position our products in competitive environments. You would be responsible for making recommendations to senior sales and product leadership influencing roadmap and strategy.
This position requires a combination of technical skills, analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the data security and management industry to support the organization in maintaining a competitive edge.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
- Drive Manageability product features tied to Service Providers and As-a Service delivery.
- Drive key capabilities such Multi-tenancy, Usage tracking, User management, Monitoring and Analytics.
- Drive Platform Manageability and Lifecycle requirements working closely with customers
- Analyze customer needs, target markets and trends, competitive environments, and partner offerings to identify business opportunities.
- Training internal stakeholders on new product features and providing support to the field and customers.
- Help the product management team with Product, Competitive, Technical and Sales collaterals.
- Work with different platforms to figure out cross-functional strategies for a better customer and partner experience.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Product Management experience with building and managing As-a Service offerings
- Experience working with Service Providers preferred
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure Manageability and Lifecycle Management from Day0 to Day-n operations
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build quantitative data models and forecasts, perform product and market comparisons (competitive intelligence)
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and solve complex problems with available resources
- Post Graduate Degree in management preferably with an Engineering degree in Computer science

Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants.
