You will be making an immediate contribution while learning the intricacies of the Finance team and how it aligns with your career goals and interests. This is an intern opportunity that will allow for exposure to a wide variety of projects within Finance including projects in the Business organization.
We are seeking a driven and analytical Finance Analytics Intern to join our analytics team at Cohesity. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and business intelligence within a rapidly growing technology company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, a passion for finance, and a desire to contribute to impactful projects that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing financial data, including revenue forecasts, expense trends, and profitability metrics, to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models, dashboards, and reports to facilitate decision-making processes and drive operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to gather data, validate assumptions, and support critical initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform business strategy and investment decisions.
- Assist in preparing presentations, executive summaries, and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership and external partners.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous coursework or internship experience in finance, analytics, or technology-related fields is a plus.
