REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role is HYBRID, which requires 2-3 days/week in office in Santa Clara, CA (or our MN or FL offices)

  • Must currently reside in the SF Bay Area (or Greater Rosevile, MN, or Greater Heathrow, FL)

  • 10+ years of progressive PM experience, building and scaling *aaS products (such as SaaS, BaaS, IaaS, or PaaS)

  • Data protection, enterprise storage, cloud backup, and/or data protection experience in large-scale distributed systems (highly preferred)

Cohesity is looking for an experienced Product Management leader with Cloud and Cyber Security experience, especially in Data Protection, to join us. We are looking for someone who cares deeply about understanding the market and our customers' needs, works closely with our Cloud partners and takes pride in building awesome products from the ground up. At Cohesity, we are aggressively taking market share from the legacy players in a $10B+ market and you’ll be instrumental in driving that growth.


At Cohesity, Product Management plays a central role in driving product development by working closely with our engineering, Field, Partners and go-to-market teams. Our team works across all levels of the organization, engaging with executive stakeholders, directly with customers and partners worldwide, and interacting closely with our user experience team. You’ll do your best work at Cohesity with an incredibly talented team.

How You'll Spend Your Time Here:

  • Lead product strategy and execution for one or more products in our core Data Protection pillar for Cloud Partnerships.

  • Be the voice of the market and customers. With a constant pulse on the market, customers, competitors, and technology trends, you will be uniquely positioned to discover, prioritize and develop market-leading offerings.

  • Be the bridge and drive execution of the Data Protection product roadmap around Cloud Partnerships; the includes working closely with internal stakeholders including our Design and Engineering teams as well as external partners such as Cloud vendors.

  • Define the strategy and drive execution for key Cloud partnerships. This involves identifying and executing on potential technology partnerships and GTM, and working closely with business development.

  • Participate in educating the larger market on who Cohesity is and where we are going with our product portfolio, including press and analyst briefings.

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the larger market in which our products operate, ensuring that roadmaps, pricing, and positioning align with the overarching strategy.

You Will Be Partnering Closely With:

  • Our Cloud partners on various activities including but not limited to joint product offerings, GTM activities, etc.

  • Other Product Manager leaders responsible for various services including AI, Security and Data Protection and various services on the Cohesity Helios platform.

  • An industry-leading engineering team who are hungry to build market-leading, well-validated solutions for our customers.

  • User Experience team to shape the customer experience and debate the art of the possible with our products and how we best support our customers’ journey.

  • Various Business Development leaders, working closely with our partners.

  • Our talented and growing Go-to-Market team, including our Marketing, Customer Support, Business Development and Sales teams.

We'd Love To Talk To You If You Have Many Of The Following:

  • B.S. in CS or related field. A graduate degree or MBA is preferred.

  • You have 12+ years of product management experience in a technology company, preferably in Cloud, enterprise B2B, and Security.

  • You are well-versed and have a solid understanding of the Cloud market and technologies.

  • You are well-versed in requirement writing, UX mock-up development, business case analysis, SaaS metrics, operational reporting, and other core PM skills.

  • You have the ability to take products from idea to market working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and solve complex problems with available resources.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$224,000.00-$280,000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
