Cohesity is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Global Revenue Accounting team. You’ll own revenue recognition activities under US GAAP (ASC 606), drive close‑process excellence, and partner cross‑functionally to scale controls, systems, and reporting as Cohesity grows.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Prepare month‑end journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

  • Support quarterly revenue reporting and preparation of financial‑statement disclosures.

  • Partner with Deal Management, Sales Ops, Pricing, and FP&A to ensure complete and accurate revenue system data and downstream reporting.

  • Drive system/process improvements, including NetSuite ARM configuration and enhancements to increase automation, quality, and speed.

  • Own and maintain key revenue controls (e.g., SSP, concessions, reserves, deferrals, concurrent transactions) and contribute to control design/testing in partnership with SOX/Internal Audit.

  • Respond to internal/external audit requests and ensure documentation quality across close artifacts.

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or SaaS/software revenue accounting under US GAAP (ASC 606).

  • Strong analytical problem‑solving, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with NetSuite (ERP/ARM) preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.

  • Big 4 or audit experience is a plus.

  • CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$105,440.00-$131,800.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
