We are seeking a senior individual contributor to lead pricing and monetization strategy across Cohesity’s Security and AI product portfolio, including Gaia. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role responsible for designing, testing, and scaling monetization models that align customer value, competitive differentiation, and durable revenue growth. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Finance, Sales, and GTM, and requires both strategic depth and strong execution rigor. You will report to the Senior Director of Product Growth & Monetization, operate with broad autonomy, and engage regularly with executive leadership, including skip-level exposure to the CPO.

At Cohesity, Product Management plays a central role in shaping company strategy. In this role, you will influence not only pricing and packaging decisions, but also product roadmap tradeoffs and go-to-market motions through a monetization lens.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Design and evolve monetization strategies for our SaaS offerings, including tiered pricing, usage-based pricing, bundles, and new commercial models.

  • Lead competitive pricing benchmarking and develop differentiated pricing models that support positioning and win-rate improvements.

  • Develop and maintain SaaS cost models to inform pricing decisions, incorporating cloud infrastructure costs, support, and customer success expenses to ensure profitability.

  • Drive go-to-market readiness in collaboration with Marketing and Sales Enablement.

  • Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging and pricing strategies are aligned across the organization.

  • Influence product roadmap decisions by aligning monetization opportunities with product value and customer needs.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic pricing insights and driving executive buy-in for pricing changes.

  • Deliver measurable revenue and margin growth through new monetization initiatives, including bundling, upsell/cross-sell strategies, and retention levers.

  • Define and monitor KPIs related to pricing efficiency, discounting, and product attach rate

  • Partner with Finance and Sales Ops to model revenue impact, and guide commercial policies.

We’d Love to Talk If You Have Many of the Following Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in pricing, monetization, or product strategy, preferably in data infrastructure and data management space.

  • Demonstrated success launching or evolving pricing strategies that deliver material revenue and/or margin impact.

  • Strong plus: Experience monetizing AI products where costs are tied to foundational models, inference, or usage-based infrastructure.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS pricing models: per-user, usage-based, tiered, feature-based, and hybrid.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; comfortable working with imperfect data.

  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence across Product, Sales, Finance, and C-suite.

  • Clear, compelling communicator—able to translate complex pricing concepts into actionable business decisions.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without formal authority and drive alignment amid competing priorities.
