About the role

Cohesity's looking for a Senior Internal Communications Manager to report to the Senior Director of internal communications and support our Worldwide Field Operations (WWFO) team. In this role, you'll work closely with Sales leadership and key stakeholders to build and deliver a communication strategy tailored specifically to the global sales organization. You’ll ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned to business goals, helping the WWFO team or the People Team stay informed, engaged, and set up for success.

You’ll be part of the broader internal communications team and will collaborate across functions to deliver exceptional content that drives meaningful business results.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • WWFO communication strategy. Create and lead a comprehensive internal comms plan for WWFO (Sales), supporting both sales goals and broader company priorities.

  • Executive communications support. Help WWFO leaders communicate clearly and consistently about important initiatives in town halls, leadership updates, or other formats.

  • Editorial excellence. Write and edit engaging, audience-focused content in multiple formats (emails, videos, newsletters, intranet posts, slide decks) to keep the field informed, engaged, and inspired.

  • Internal communications campaigns. Own the planning and delivery of key WWFO communications, such as product launches, enablement initiatives, or strategic updates, working with partners across the business.

  • Intranet and channel management. Keep WWFO-related content on the intranet and enable portal current, relevant, and easy to access. Leverage data to improve how we use internal channels to reach the field.

  • Field feedback and engagement. Identify new vehicles to gather feedback from WWFO teams, such as surveys or quick polls, to understand what’s working well and where we can improve.

  • Change management initiatives Develop and manage communications during organizational changes or urgent situations. Deliver clear, timely, and empathetic updates so Sales employees stay informed and confident.

  • Drive cross-team collaboration. Partner across teams like Enablement, Product, Marketing, Legal, and HR to keep messaging consistent with broader company efforts.

  • Drive culture and values. Share stories, wins, and highlights from the WWFO team (“Sales Heroes”) that reinforce company culture, celebrate success, and build community.

  • Measure effectiveness and strengthen field engagement

  • Develop and track success metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications including reach, engagement, comprehension, sentiment and business impact.

  • Partner with HR and other stakeholders to leverage employee engagement and listening data.

  • Leverage AI tools and analytics to enhance communications and drive greater impact: content creation, optimization, and workflow efficiency.

  • Collaborative team player. Ours is a small, but mighty, internal communications team. As the company/team needs shift and grow, you should have an interest in and willingness to support other areas of the business.

WE WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Executive communication strategy development.

  • Direct partnership with C-Level or SVP-level leaders. (WWFO or the People Team)

  • Change management communications.

  • Crisis or sensitive communications experience.

  • Building communication campaigns that drove measurable engagement.

  • Experience managing communications for global audiences.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales organizations.

  • AI-enabled communication processes and content creation experience.
