We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team in New York. Current’s Marketing team is dedicated to growing the user base of Current members. We execute across the full menu of marketing channels: digital, influencer, affiliate, TV, direct mail, podcasts, radio, etc. We partner closely with Product and Finance to optimize towards acquiring high quality users that will engage deeply with our products.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Manager of Marketing Strategy & Operations is responsible for supporting the execution of key marketing initiatives across the Marketing team. Projects will focus mainly on operations and project management across the marketing organization, as well channel management across paid marketing.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong project management skills and the ability to adapt and learn new skills rapidly. The ideal candidate will have a superb partner mindset and will be motivated by elevating and empowering others to achieve team and personal goals. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the planning, execution and tracking of marketing initiatives across channels.
  • Coordinate kick-off meetings, provide company materials, set-agendas and initiate follow-ups.
  • Track and report marketing projects, assess against goals, and optimize processes.
  • Work with Finance to create and track project budgets.
  • Review marketing materials and work with cross-functional team members to ensure materials reflect Current’s brand messaging.
  • Support the creative team in the production of paid ads and creation of organic content.
  • Maintain organized records of marketing communications, deliverables, and collaborations.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders; facilitate effective decision-making by presenting project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees.
  • Lead marketing initiatives as needed.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 3-5+ years of strategy, consulting, or project management experience, ideally with a minimum of 1 year focused on marketing, either directly within a company or through a consulting engagement(s)
  • Strong project management skills and detail-oriented
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles
  • Self-starter and team player who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent personal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive and resourceful problem solver who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

This role has a base salary range of $139,000 - $166,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, and qualifications, which are assessed during the interview process.
