This role is in-office in our Arlington, TX location.
Job Summary
The Production Lead, Post Closing plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all post-closing activities. This position serves as the primary support and escalation point for Post Closing Associates, providing guidance on complex file reviews, recording requirements, and audit requests. In addition to handling advanced production work, the Production Lead helps train and coach team members, ensures lender and regulatory standards are met, and partners with the Supervisor, Post Closing to maintain efficiency and consistency across the team. This role requires strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of recording and compliance requirements, and the ability to balance high-volume work while supporting team development.
Role Description
- Review completed closing packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lender and recording requirements.
- Support Associates by resolving escalations such as missing signatures, incomplete lender documentation, or recording rejections.
- Contribute directly to production by scanning and labeling documents, preparing county-specific intake forms, and assisting with both e-recording and traditional recording.
- Ensure lender packages are returned within stated SLAs and audit details are addressed in collaboration with internal Compliance teams.
- Monitor post-closing work queues to identify potential delays and reallocate assignments when needed.
- Provide guidance and training to Associates on best practices, system navigation, and workflow improvements.
- Communicate with lenders, counties, and internal partners to resolve issues and keep transactions moving efficiently.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to surface workflow trends, recommend process changes, and identify team resource needs.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and organization to support timely and error-free post-closing.
Job Requirements
- Has 3–5 years of post-closing and/or recording experience with strong knowledge of lender documents and county recording processes.
- Excellent phone, email, face-to-face, and remote communication skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows with precision and timeliness.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve escalations professionally and efficiently.
- Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills, with comfort working under lender SLA requirements.
- Comfortable working with compliance and audit processes, ensuring files meet regulatory and internal quality standards.
- Adaptable to process changes, technology updates, and evolving customer or lender needs.
- Proficient in title production systems and recording software (experience with ResWare and Simplifile preferred).

An employee’s pay position within the base salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Doma, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
