About the Role:
Join our team as an Account Coordinator and help ensure operational excellence for our largest customers. As a Flock Ops expert, you’ll work cross-functionally to support key relationships, manage day-to-day account needs, and drive results in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. What You'll Do:

• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to support customer relationships and manage day-to-day operational needs
• Own daily account operations — from quoting to invoicing — ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) are met
• Strategically accept or reject freight to maximize profitability
• Manage load boards, coverage decisions, escalations, and timely issue resolution
• Ensure successful scheduling and optimize for coverable time
• Handle internal and external escalations and resolve service issues efficiently
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each account and escalate recurring concerns or service trends to leadership
• Monitor and manage billing processes, rates, fuel surcharges, and resolve any related issues

Who You Are:

• You hold a Bachelor’s Degree
• You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
• You have strong problem-solving skills and can handle fast-paced operations
• You’re proactive and capable of working independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders
• You have the flexibility to work after-hours, weekends, or holidays as needed
• You communicate effectively and have the relationship-building skills to support and delight customers
• You’re eager to learn and grow within the logistics and freight industry

Compensation
This is a non-exempt role with an hourly rate of $24.00/hour. In addition to hourly pay, full-time employees are also eligible for an equity package and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Flock Freight. Our policy is that we target candidates local to one of Flock Freight’s headquarters locations (San Diego and Chicago).
