The role

As an experienced Facilities Manager, you will lead the operational excellence of our Bristol Headquarters, home to over 800 employees across tech and business functions. This role is central to creating an inspiring, safe and efficient workplace that supports productivity, collaboration, and wellbeing. Manage office and building operations, ensure UK Health & Safety compliance, align with our IMS.

Working in close partnership with internal teams, you’ll deliver a seamless employee experience while driving improvements in vendor management, space planning, sustainability, and emergency preparedness.

The successful candidate will have a warm and sociable personality, excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and the confidence to lead a high-performing Business Services team. You will play a key role in shaping a workplace culture that reflects our values and supports our people, and will have proven experience gained from performing similar Facilities management roles within a technology business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the practical and logistical aspects of an office relocation, collaborating with internal team members and external contractors
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, security, and sustainability throughout the office environment
  • Be part of the Global Workplace & Facilities team and contribute to our strategy as well as collaborate with People and IT teams to support smooth onboarding and daily operations
  • Manage the facilities budget, reporting, and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic goals
  • Oversee maintenance tasks with a proactive PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) strategy for planned building improvements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the IMS framework is necessary, as all operational decisions and procedures are required to align with and adhere to the IMS framework

Essential skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience leading teams and coordinating external contractors and service providers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the organisation
  • A strong customer service attitude, committed to creating a welcoming, efficient, and high-performing workplace experience
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • You will be highly organised and committed to delivering a 5-star customer service

Desirable skills

  • Holds or is actively working toward IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
