      What You’ll Do
      The Senior Accountant, Inventory is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory accounting, including valuation, controls, reporting and analysis. This role ensures accurate period-end inventory balances, supports financial close processes, and partners cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and finance to drive effective inventory management and cost efficiency.

      • Manage inventory accounting processes, including inventory valuation, and reserves (excess and obsolete inventory).
      • Oversee month-end close activities related to inventory, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
      • Analyze inventory movements, cost of goods sold (COGS), and gross margin trends; provide actionable insights to leadership.
      • Partner with supply chain, operations, and procurement teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking and costing.
      • Maintain and enhance internal controls over inventory, ensuring compliance company policies and execution of SOX controls.
      • Lead or support physical inventory counts and cycle count programs; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
      • Review and monitor inventory-related accruals and adjustments.
      • Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
      • Assist with system implementations or process improvements related to inventory and cost accounting.
      What You’ll Bring
      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
      • 3 - 5+ years of accounting experience.
      • Experience in manufacturing, retail, or consumer products environments preferred.
      • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
      • Experience working in various ERP systems.
      • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
      • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $80,000 - $92,000 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
