We are in search of a Card Operations Manager with experience in card program management, payments, and back office operations to support and manage Kikoff’s secured credit card program. This team member will assist in executing operational enhancements, regulatory requirements, key vendor management including audits, and regular program monitoring. Over time, this role has the potential to become a compliance officer who would have broader scope of responsibilities.
What you'll do:
Ensure effective program operations by working directly with our sponsor bank, processor, payment networks, card manufacturer, and other key vendors to monitor and enhance the card program. Manage optimal performance of vendors and address escalations as needed.
Partner with our Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to tie together product features and functionality with operational workflows and customer experience needs.
Oversee daily operations of the card program, including card issuance, transactions, funding and deposits, settlements, customer communications, account management and maintenance, and fraud and risk management.
Oversight of chargeback/disputes process.
Assist with monitoring program revenue (interchange/fees), expenses, and financial reconciliation.
Monitor program and associated processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and partner bank requirements in multiple areas including Know Your Customer, OFAC/PEP, Regulation E/Z, BSA/AML, deposit processing, lending, and general compliance.
Ensure the program operates in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations, industry best practices, and internal policies.
Manage all audit and compliance requirements from our partner bank and other key vendors, including audit remediation and required program updates.
Create or update operational procedures to help grow the team and business while staying compliant with all partner and regulatory requirements.
Working cross-functionally with Kikoff leadership, product, legal, and engineering teams as required.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement.
Who you are:
2-5 years of experience in managing card programs, claims processing, and card operations in a fintech, bank, or credit union. Fintech and secured credit card experience is a plus.
Experience with managing financial products, handling sensitive customer information, and navigating compliance and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of a variety of operations & customer support tools, processes, and best practices.
Self directed, initiative taking, detail oriented, with the ability to work independently or cross functionally.
Positive work attitude with a growth mindset; strong sense of ownership and team spirit.
