About the role:
The Cloud platform team is at the heart of this transformation led by cloud, SaaS, virtualisation, security, devops and containers. ThoughtSpot is looking for a Principal Product Manager/Director of Product Management - Cloud/SaaS Infrastructure. You will be working on multi-cloud and multi-tenancy aspects of the ThoughtSpot Cloud architecture. You will be responsible for developing well-informed product hypotheses, validating them, and creating a product roadmap. You will work with a diverse team including customers, sales, engineering and UX to gather requirements and produce product specifications. You will take a customer-first approach in understanding product requirements, nuances of both public and private cloud features, operational costs, and then work toward implementing efficient SaaS solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Define and lead next generation SaaS architecture for ThoughtSpot .
Lead product management for SaaS architecture, multi-tenancy & multi-cloud strategy.
Drive the prioritisation, scope, and schedule of product activities, working closely with Architects and Engineering Leads.
Work closely with customers to understand their data operations and make sure the product meets their needs.
Develop consensus among stakeholders for product strategies and initiatives.
Facilitate customer and field involvement in collecting product feedback and driving it to actionable follow-up.
Develop sales & marketing tools, including product collateral, presentations, competitive analysis, videos, and articles.
What You'll Bring:
12+ years of hands-on product management experience with a record of successfully building and launching enterprise software products.
Experience in SaaS & Cloud products is required.
Technical depth working with building & scaling out an application multi-cloud strategy especially on AWS and GCP.
Metrics oriented, data-driven and analytical.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with different stakeholders to get the desired result.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive leadership to drive outcomes across multiple teams.
Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.
