WHAT'S THE ROLE:

Associate Partner Sales Manager- Japan

We are seeking a highly motivated Partner Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through strategic partner alliances in Japan. This is a critical role focused on managing and expanding our network of resellers, onboarding new partners as needed, and driving new customer acquisition in enterprise markets. You will also be responsible for some existing account growth, ensuring alignment with the overall sales objectives of ThoughtSpot.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the Partner Sales Representative will be responsible for executing the partner sales strategy in Japan, building strong relationships with resellers, and engaging with end customers to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals, with a proven track record of indirect sales experience and high-touch engagement with enterprise customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage and expand relationships with existing resellers, while identifying and onboarding new resellers to expand ThoughtSpot's partner ecosystem.

  • Drive new customer acquisition within enterprise accounts by leveraging partner relationships and engaging directly with end customers to promote ThoughtSpot’s AI-powered analytics platform.

  • Work closely with the partner ecosystem to ensure they are equipped and motivated to sell ThoughtSpot’s solutions, supporting their efforts with training, marketing, and sales enablement tools.

  • Maintain high-touch engagement with enterprise customers, ensuring ThoughtSpot’s value proposition is clearly communicated and aligning solutions with the needs of customers in the Japanese market.

  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through a combination of partner-driven and direct customer interactions, leveraging strong execution and a results-oriented mindset.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment of strategies and shared success in meeting business objectives.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B or enterprise environment with a focus on indirect sales through partner channels.

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency and business-level English are essential.

  • Proven experience in partner sales or direct enterprise sales, including working with resellers, distributors, or alliances to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.

  • Strong ability to engage with enterprise customers directly and in collaboration with partners, conducting high-touch sales activities to promote ThoughtSpot's solutions.

  • Results-driven mindset, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to motivate partners and collaborate effectively across internal teams.

  • A passion for AI-powered analytics and a desire to help Japanese enterprises address key challenges in digital transformation, such as aging populations and labor force challenges, using innovative technology.
