What's The Role:
As a Senior Staff Engineer, you’ll work with a team of 5-10 rockstar engineers in developing cutting edge data analytics products. You’ll be hands-on with architecture, design, and development, driving projects from 0 to 1 while aligning with customer needs and business goals.
What You'll Do:
Lead architecture and development of complex projects in the Data Analytics space.
Execute PoCs/PoTs and build prototypes for technology adoption into the product
Ensure scalable, maintainable, and performance-oriented solutions across platforms.
Drive hands-on design and technical leadership through the software lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical and business goals.
Mentor team members and contribute to best practices and standards.
Stay current with AI/ML trends and incorporate them into our solutions.
What You Bring:
12+ years in software development, with at least 5 years in an architect/lead role.
Strong experience in one of the following domains - Data
Analytics, Infrastructure & Large Scale Backend Systems
Hands-on experience with one or more Cloud Data Warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, GBQ & Synapse and strong RDBMS fundamentals.
Experience in implementing different authZ/authN techniques such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, Key-Pair
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms(AWS/Azure), containerization, and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of Web Services REST, ESB, Thrift & gRP.
Experience in Gen AI/Applied ML, Infrastructure as code will be an added advantage
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong proficiency in Java-based technologies and frameworks, including Core Java and J2EE.
Good understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and availability.
Proficiency in secure coding practices, including knowledge of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, CWE) and mitigation strategies to ensure robust application security.
The ability to write clean, effective, and robust code, along with experience in writing functional, performance, and system test suites.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and performance tuning is desirable.
