The Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support our technical sales efforts across the Central and Western United States. In this role, you will drive business value for prospects and existing customers by demonstrating how our product and services can help achieve their strategic business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling technical solutions to enterprise clients—preferably within Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Analytics. This person will have a solid understanding of how technology can solve business challenges, take a consultative sales approach, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:
Understand customers’ analytics goals and challenges through effective discovery
Confidently present and communicate the business value of our platform to stakeholders at all levels
Deliver product demonstrations that clearly differentiate us from competitors
Lead product evaluations by helping customers analyze their own data
Collaborate with team members and share knowledge to support ongoing learning
Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
Capture and communicate customer requirements to internal product teams
Take initiative and remain flexible in a dynamic environment
Partner with sales to plan and execute account strategies
Build trusted advisor relationships with customer champions and Account Executives to ensure alignment and success
What You Bring:
Demonstrated success in a customer-facing role as part of a sales team
Intermediate or greater proficiency in SQL
Proficiency in JavaScript or Python preferred
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
Hands-on experience with popular database technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, or equivalent
Ability to understand customer needs and propose timely, relevant solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation and demo skills, for both technical and business audiences
Broad understanding of cloud computing benefits and technologies
Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment
Ambitious, curious, and self-motivated with a passion for both sales and technology
Coachable, with a strong desire to learn and grow
Strong initiative, positive attitude, and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to travel as needed
The estimated annual salary range for this role is $ 130k– $180k per year.
Actual compensation may vary and will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location of the selected candidate.
