GTM Engineer
Mode Analytics
The Role
We’re looking for a technical, deeply curious GTM Engineer who thrives at the intersection of go-to-market strategy, systems, automation, and Agentic AI. This role is for someone who doesn’t just use tools—they build, connect, evolve and ensure adoption on them. You have a passion for understanding how modern AI (especially agents) can fundamentally transform GTM workflows, and you actively experiment with and deploy these capabilities in real-world environments.
At ThoughtSpot, we are leveraging AI to reimagine how GTM teams operate—creating intelligent, adaptive workflows that seamlessly connect data, systems, and people. As a GTM Engineer, you will design, build, and scale these workflows using a combination of self-built agents, generative AI, APIs, and best-in-class GTM technologies. Not only will you build, you will own our full GTM tech stack to integrate, optimize and accelerate our team’s use of technology and AI.
You bring strong technical fluency and a builder mindset. You’ve architected and deployed agents or automated systems that operate across tools, and you’re comfortable working across CRM, seller productivity tools, data platforms, and internal systems. You understand how to translate complex sales, delivery, and RevOps workflows into scalable, AI-powered tech workflows that drive pipeline, improve conversion, and accelerate revenue.
You are equally comfortable going deep in the tech as you are mapping end-to-end GTM processes. You think in systems, not silos—understanding how tools (both built and bought) integrate to support each GTM role. You are motivated by unlocking efficiency and effectiveness through automation, and you continuously look for opportunities to replace manual work with intelligent, agent-driven execution.
Ultimately, you bring a combination of technical craftsmanship, AI curiosity, and GTM empathy—building solutions that make teams faster, smarter, and more impactful.
What You’ll Do:
Build, buy and manage AI Systems & Tools in GTM
Ensure the tech stack is optimized for key programs and seller productivity
Identify and define high-impact AI use cases, taking them from prototype to full deployment within our CRM and sales workflows.
Enable the Field Sales and RevOps teams by building internal AI champions, educating stakeholders, and aggressively pushing the adoption of new AI workflows.
Stay ahead of AI trends and best practices, particularly in Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems, to bring cutting-edge strategies to the revenue team.
Conduct rolling audits of our existing GTM tech stack to maximize the native AI features of the tools we already pay for.
Support decisions on how to leverage AI to get more out of our GTM systems and better connect them
Demo, implement and optimize new AI-native tooling capabilities
Clearly document and articulate tools aligned to workflows, and own the tech stack for GTM
Drive maximum adoption of our tech stack to GTM stakeholders
Optimize Systems Performance
Reduce tech debt and ensure uptime of GTM systems
Regularly collect feedback from sales and marketing teams to improve efficiency
What You Bring:
4-6+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, Business Systems, Revenue Operations, Solutions Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar technical operational roles within B2B SaaS, AI/ML, or high-growth environments.
strong track record of coding real API integrations, working with MCP servers, building lightweight automations/agents, and manipulating complex data.
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales cycles, marketing funnels, post-sale delivery, and how data directly influences revenue outcomes.
Proven track record of taking deep ownership of ambiguous problems and translating raw business requirements into scalable, automated technical solutions.
Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-enabled workflows, copilots, or agents for business teams using tools like Claude Code or OpenAI agent builder.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with a high attention to detail.
