About the position:

MoonPay is looking for a Senior Product Manager or Product Lead to join our Shared Services group and lead the Payments Squad In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of payments infrastructure. As a key member of the Product Team, you will work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class experiences for our users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building scalable products that have been used by millions of people. You should also have a deep understanding of UX, conversion optimization. Experience working with Web3 and crypto-related products is desirable but not essential.

You'll Spend Your Time :

  • Develop a clear, coherent product strategy for our payment strategic pillar. You’ll have a strong focus on prioritizing efficiently, delivering features and functionalities to unlock material impact

  • Own and drive the metrics for your area, helping us identify what success looks like and how to reach it

  • Use your initiative to lead your product strategy. You’ll collaborate across MoonPay and its product groups, to collect ideas and problems to solve

  • Maintain a roadmap in-line with your strategy, then follow through on it by writing clear feature bries, prioritizing features, bugs and tech debt appropriately

  • Work closely with the engineering team to have a detailed understanding of the problems, opportunities and potential solutions

  • Manage stakeholders – you’ll know when to listen, but also have the conviction to deliver hard messages

  • Endlessly pursue a deep understanding of the customer, informed through research and data analysis

You Should Apply If:

  • Self-starter, ability to deliver in a hyper-growth environment

  • An open mindset, able to balance the requirements of multiple teams to deliver the widest benefit to the business

  • An analytical approach, you know what to look for and which metrics to focus on

  • Demonstrable experience in the Merchant Acceptance or Acquiring area working with payment gateways, payment providers, payment orchestrator, alternative payment methods, mobile money or Open Banking solutions

  • Ideally experience and track record of building successful products, ideally in FinTech, using data, customer feedback and identifying market opportunities

  • Experience in shipping products in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services, Crypto, Payment Treasury, Lending, Investments, etc. comply with current regulation and leveraging regulatory changes in the space

  • Engineering/Computer Science background or understanding of APIs is desirable but not necessary

  • Partnership Manager experience dealing with external suppliers and third-party software Ideally, exposure to negotiating contracts to facilitate the development of new products

  • Senior Stakeholders management, ability to pitch your solution to C-level Executives
