Job Description

The team’s main focus is on maintaining and extending a mechanism responsible for integrations to make job seekers’ spend less time applying to jobs by minimizing redirections, reducing repetitive data input and much more. This is done by creating API Integrations and Web Browser automations that send Job Seeker Application data to various endpoints, such as: Job Boards, Applicant Tracking Systems, and API providers that proxy Applicant Tracking Systems. Another focus for the team is extending the benefits of the integration, including a system that enables us to track the job seeker application status in the recruitment process and provide value for jobseekers, ATS’s and employers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for RESTful APIs using Java and Rest Assured.
  • Build and maintain frontend and backend automation tests using Cypress or Playwright.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Define and maintain testing strategies and documentation standards, ensuring all test plans, scenarios, and defect reports are clear, actionable, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Follow and advocate QA best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of test processes across the organisation.
  • Drive root cause analysis and proactively identify potential quality issues.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java and Rest Assured for API test automation.
  • Skilled in Postman for manual API testing and exploration.
  • Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright for UI automation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with modern SDLC practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ownership mentality.
