Job Description

Join our team and you will support the growth of our business by managing a range of lead management related activities. You will be responsible for managing ongoing day to day tasks, working with key stakeholders to drive business impact through the lead management activities.

Working in the Sales Support department, you will be contributing to the ultimate success of the Stepstone business.

Your Responsibilities

Lead Qualification and Management:

  • Review and qualify inbound leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring they align with the ideal customer profile and line of business.
  • Prioritize and score leads using lead scoring tools and methodologies to assess sales readiness.
  • Manage lead records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in the CRM system.
  • Distribute qualified leads to appropriate sales team members based on predefined guidelines.

Sales Pipeline Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide timely and effective lead hand-offs.
  • Track the lead progression within the pipeline, identifying gaps and recommending actions to enhance lead conversion to both sales managers and Quality Assurance manager.

CRM & Data Management:

  • Update and maintain lead records in the CRM (e.g. SAP CRM).
  • Ensure CRM data hygiene by verifying lead information, identifying duplicates, and merging records as necessary.
  • Generate and share regular reports on lead activity, source quality, and conversion metrics.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Analyse lead data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing lead flow and conversion rates.
  • Ensure delivery of ongoing lead management tasks (90% time) e.g. lead matching and allocation.
  • Use third-party systems & tools to enable increased lead data quality.
  • Support and work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders as needed on lead related projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance lead management.
  • Provide sales with actionable leads that drive new business growth and positively impact the sales journey.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues to support with lead tasks.

Qualifications

  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at varying levels across the business.
  • Skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • SAP CRM experience
  • Independent worker that can effectively prioritise and manage time.
  • Positive mindset to work and change.
  • Minimum of a matric education with 2+ years’ experience in sales / lead management and 3+ years with hands-on experience in CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., SAP CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with lead scoring and qualification tools.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with an eye for detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
