Job Description

Join our team where you can participate delivering data driven solutions based on Medallion data design pattern.

Join our team and you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining a scalable self-service framework for data production and consumption, enabling multiple teams to efficiently manage data at scale while reducing complexity by eliminating legacy pipelines.

Working in the Data Platform / Data Engineering department you will design and develop modern data solutions in a fully AWS-based environment, leveraging the latest cloud services to deliver robust frameworks and platform solutions from Proof of Concept through to Production.

Your responsibilities:

  • Architectural leadership – lead the design and evolution of the Medallion Architecture framework, ensuring scalability, governance, and best practices.

  • Cross-team collaboration – partner with development teams and stakeholders to drive architecture decisions and maintain technical excellence.

  • CI/CD & deployment support – contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD processes for deployment, testing, and production troubleshooting.

  • Mentorship & code quality – mentor mid-level engineers and lead design/code reviews to promote best practices.

  • Data platform optimization – identify opportunities to improve data platforms and influence long-term data strategy.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Python with a proven track record of delivering large-scale solutions, combined with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services and Big Data technologies (including Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon ECS, and Lake Formation)

  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and large-scale automation practices

  • Deep experience with modern data tools and standards such as Spark and Iceberg, with additional familiarity with the Kafka ecosystem as a plus

  • Proven ability to design, optimize, and govern scalable data architectures aligned with performance and reliability requirements

  • Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, leading design discussions, and influencing architectural decisions to align technical solutions with business goals
