As a key member of our accounting team, you'll play a critical role in our month-end financial close process. Your tasks will include: Preparing and reconciling expense accruals, fixed assets-related entries, and prepaid-related entries to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger. You'll also work closely with our various internal teams including Procurement, Legal, Marketing, People, and FP&A to ensure policy compliance and accounting coding accuracy. Accurate financial data will provide confidence to our leadership teams to make data-driven decisions

The impact you’ll make:

  • Compile and prepare monthly journal entries for our month-end financial close, including AP Expense Accruals, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, and reconciliation of assigned GL accounts.
  • Collaborate with our external tax teams on monthly sales and VAT tax filings.
  • Administer and enforce our corporate travel and corporate credit card programs, maintaining up-to-date systems and ensuring compliance with T&E policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to the Accounts Payable Analyst and outsourced AP team, assisting with general accounts payable inquiries.
  • Manage additional ad hoc projects, technical accounting research, and process audit preparations as required.

Skills you’ll bring:

  • 4-6 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of in-house accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Systems experience with NetSuite, Tipalti, Expensify, and Egencia preferred
  • Proficiency with G-Suite and Excel (think pivot tables, lookups and more!)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with various stakeholders across the business

Additional Information:

Minimum salary of $71,966 to maximum salary of $111,741 + equity + benefits.

The range provided is NextRoll’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
