What we’re looking for

As Head of Education, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Platzi's educational direction. You'll lead a talented team of Course Directors, overseeing the entire course lifecycle – from concept and content planning to resource creation, assessments, and delivery.

What you’ll be doing

Conceive and lead the development of complementary learning experiences that enrich the curriculum (e.g., challenges, live sessions, meetups, blog posts).
Steer the course creation process, encompassing curriculum planning, recording, resource development, assessments, and student delivery.
Guide Course Directors to guarantee teachers in crafting the pedagogical framework and promoting their courses.
Implement course improvements based on student feedback, quality assurance evaluations, and data analysis, ensuring content adheres to the highest quality standards.
Conduct competitive analysis, identify trending topics, and spearhead the development of new courses. Continuously evaluate and relaunch courses when necessary.
Actively recruit potential instructors and cultivate a talent pipeline.
Provide comprehensive support through Course Directors to teachers, including pre-session organization, coaching, evaluation, and setting teaching expectations.

Who you are

Proven experience leading educational teams in a dynamic environment.
Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Extensive experience in curriculum development, content creation, and project management.
Strong track record of driving quality improvements and innovation in educational settings.
Passion for fostering a collaborative and dynamic learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Fluency in English (B2 or higher).
Proficiency in digital tools for project management and collaboration.
