What we’re looking for
Platzi is looking for a Course Director with a passion for education and proven experience in project management. This role demands a proactive leader who can oversee the entire course creation process, engage and support teachers, and drive continuous quality improvements. The ideal candidate excels in market research, teacher recruitment, and collaborating with marketing teams to effectively launch courses. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and adaptability are essential.
What you’ll be doing
Squad Lead — You'll oversee the entire course creation process from start to finish. This includes planning content, recording, creating resources and evaluations, and delivering the course to students, ensuring a memorable and impactful educational experience.
Teacher Engagement — Inspire and work closely with teachers to prepare the pedagogical structure and promote courses, creating a rich and engaging learning environment.
Quality Improvement — Drive innovative course enhancements based on student feedback, insights from the quality assurance team, and metric analysis, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
Innovative Learning — Propose and lead new complementary learning experiences to enrich courses, keeping students motivated and engaged.
Market Research — Perform in-depth market research to identify trending subjects, develop new courses, and evaluate and relaunch existing courses as needed, ensuring our educational offerings remain cutting-edge.
Teacher Recruitment — Recruit top-tier teaching talent and build a robust lead list of potential instructors, ensuring each course is led by high-caliber educators.
Teacher Support — Provide comprehensive support to teachers, including organizing pre-session evaluations, offering coaching, and setting clear teaching expectations.
Launch Strategy — Collaborate closely with the marketing team to design, plan, and execute effective course launch strategies, ensuring optimal promotion and reach.
Who you are
4+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager for SaaS products, education products, or similar roles. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
Strong skills in planning, developing, and delivering content, including recording and creating resources.
Proficiency in analyzing feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality standards.
Adaptability to changing circumstances and ability to pivot strategies as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, get-things-done mindset and sense of urgency.
Ability to propose and direct innovative new learning experiences and tools.
Capability to benchmark, identify trending subjects, and develop new courses based on market demand.
Ability to provide effective support and coaching to teachers, setting clear teaching expectations.
Excellent collaboration skills, working closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders on course launch strategies and other needs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with teachers, students, and team members.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams and projects, providing direction and motivation to achieve common goals.
Plus: Knowledge of relevant CRM software and Google Suite.
Plus: Experience collaborating with VP and C-level executives.
English level: B2 or above.
