What You’ll Be Doing
Design and Implement Data Architecture: Develop and maintain robust, scalable data architectures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our data warehouse systems.
Cloud Data Solutions: Leverage cloud computing services, primarily AWS and GCP, to build and manage data infrastructure.
Advanced SQL Operations: Utilize advanced SQL techniques for data processing, integration, and extraction to support various business needs.
Data Pipeline Development: Construct, automate, and manage data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow across our systems.
Collaborative Projects: Work closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, product, marketing, and sales to deliver data-driven solutions.
Data Governance and Quality: Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Innovation and Optimization: Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance our data engineering processes.
Optional - NoSQL Proficiency: Apply knowledge of NoSQL databases and related AWS and GCP solutions to complement our data storage strategies.
Who You Are
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in AWS and GCP, with a solid understanding of their data solutions (Row and Columnar solutions).
SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL skills for complex query design and data manipulation.
Programming Skills: Strong programming abilities in languages such as Python, Java or similar.
Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehouse systems and architecture.
Big Data Frameworks Proficiency: Strong experience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, etc.) and understanding of their architectural principles.
Real-Time Analytics Skills: Experience with real-time data processing frameworks and technologies such as Apache Flink, or similar
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex data issues.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into actionable business insights.
Continuous Learner: A proactive learner who stays updated with the latest in data engineering and cloud technologies.
English Proficiency: Comfortable conversing and writing in English (at least a B1 level).
Optional - NoSQL Knowledge: Familiarity with NoSQL databases and their applications within cloud environments.
Optional - Hands on experience with DBT and Airflow
Desirable skills
Familiarity with AI tools that enhance productivity and experienced in integrating AI technologies to streamline workflows.
