Summary
Platzi is looking for a Government Sales Executive to lead our growth in the public sector across Latin America. This role focuses on developing relationships with government institutions, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring compliance with all procedures and requirements related to B2G (business-to-government) operations. Experience in public procurement, tenders, and government contracting is essential.
Description
As a Government Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities with public institutions at local, state, and federal levels. You will manage end-to-end sales processes, including registration in procurement systems, participation in public tenders, preparation of proposals, and negotiation of contracts in accordance with government regulations.
You will work closely with the finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure compliance with all administrative and legal requirements for government sales. This role requires a deep understanding of B2G procedures, the ability to manage complex documentation, and strong relationship management skills to establish long-term partnerships with public sector clients.
If you have proven experience in B2G sales, enjoy working with structured processes, and can handle the complexity of public procurement environments, this role will allow you to make a strong impact on Platzi’s institutional expansion.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in B2G (business-to-government) sales, preferably with SaaS or service-based products.
- Demonstrated experience managing public tenders, procurement portals, and bidding processes at local, state, or federal levels.
- Knowledge of public contracting laws, bidding requirements, and compliance procedures in Latin America.
- Proven ability to prepare technical and economic proposals, manage documentation, and close contracts with government entities.
- Experience engaging with decision-makers and procurement officers within government organizations.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and platforms for lead management and reporting.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Spanish.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing processes with multiple administrative steps.
- Experience in SaaS, education, or technology industries is an advantage.
