As a Vendor Master Data Analyst specializing in procurement information management, your core responsibility is to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of data related to vendors, articles, and other critical aspects for the procurement team. Your scope ranges from vendor registration to data validation, encompassing duplicate prevention, integration with accounting systems, and ensuring the accuracy of article records. This role plays a pivotal part in process optimization, ensuring that the procurement team has reliable and up-to-date information for their day-to-day operations.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

Master Data Management (MDM):

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Master Data Management strategy for procurement data, ensuring the creation and maintenance of a single, authoritative source of truth.
  • Define data governance policies, standards, and procedures to enforce data quality across the procurement lifecycle.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of registering new vendors, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information is collected and entered into the procurement database.
  • Evaluate vendor-provided data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Implement validation checks to ensure that vendors meet established criteria and standards before their data is integrated into the procurement system.
  • Develop and implement protocols and tools to identify and eliminate duplicate vendor records within the procurement database.
  • Regularly conduct audits and reviews to maintain a clean and consolidated vendor database.
  • Monitor and maintain the accuracy of product or service articles registered in the procurement system.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to ensure that all relevant information, including pricing and specifications, is correctly recorded and up-to-date.

Data Profiling and Cleansing:

  • Conduct regular data profiling exercises to identify anomalies, outliers, and inconsistencies in procurement datasets.
  • Establish automated data cleansing processes to proactively address and rectify data discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from procurement data.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks related to procurement data integrity and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Monitor compliance with data protection regulations and implement necessary measures to ensure data security.

  • Fluent in Spanish, English (Plus) and Portuguese (Plus).
  • Proven experience in procurement analytics, data management, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and a good understanding of supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functionAbility to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.al teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or minimum 2 years’ experience with an ERP system.
  • Hands-on experience with Coupa (Plus).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or other related field.
