We are looking for a Data Scientist with hands-on experience in developing and deploying data-driven solutions. In this role, you will design predictive models, automate processes, and contribute to scalable data products that create real business value. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to turn raw data into actionable insights and intelligent systems.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models for a variety of use cases.

• Automate workflows and data pipelines using tools like Airflow or custom Python scripts.

• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering.

• Package and deploy models using Docker in production environments.

• Use Git for version control, code reviews, and team collaboration.

• Work with large datasets to uncover insights and trends.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.

• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and modeling.

• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and model evaluation.

• Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Airflow) or process automation via Python.

• Familiarity with Docker for packaging and deploying applications.

• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Exposure to MLOps practices or tools.

• Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, or causal inference.
