Our Sales team is seeking a Sales Development Representative who generates new leads and contributes to the growth of the sales pipeline via outreach, prospecting and lead qualification. This role also provides support for the sales team in closing business.

This is a salaried, non-exempt position with a competitive range of $53,000 - $63,000 annually, in accordance with experience and qualifications, plus opportunity for commission. Your contributions to Rival will include:

  • Identifying and contacting prospective clients to build the pipeline through a variety of methods including, but not limited to cold calling, emailing, and mass email campaigns. Approximately 60% of time spent will be on the phones prospecting.
  • Quickly learning Rival’s products and demonstrating appropriate level of knowledge of products and business needs to educating prospective clients on value proposition and generating interest.
  • Achieving department standards for activity that includes:
    • Making minimum required number of daily outbound calls that result in quality conversations.
    • Scheduling a minimum number of new quality discovery calls per week.
    • Creating a minimum number of new quality opportunities per week.
  • Maintaining accurate prospecting activity and lead qualification information in CRM and providing accurate forecasts and reports including pipeline forecast and territory reports.
  • Providing general sales support to sales team through various means, including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, scheduling demonstrations, and corresponding email follow ups.
  • Collaborating with the sales team, marketing team, solution engineers and various other subject matter experts throughout the sales process.
  • Successfully managing time to ensure profiling, adding, and updating accounts and contacts daily; consistently following up with prospects while still meeting/exceeding minimum department requirements.
