We are seeking a DevOps Engineer II who is responsible for the availability and performance of Rival products and services. As part of the R&D Development team, the DevOps Engineer II will be involved in deployment, automation, virtualization, monitoring and troubleshooting across Rival services and applications.

Your Contributions to Rival will include:

• Championing the DevOps process and ensuring DevOps strategy is implemented in end-to-end development.
• Finding ways to improve existing architecture keeping in mind various automation tools.
• Acting as an escalation point for qualified service degradation incidents and background provisioning issues.
• Acting as a knowledge expert on configuration management and deployment tools.
• Supporting the implementation of DevOps / Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery for Rival’s new product initiatives and existing products.
• Helping define and ensure that security, governance and compliance standards and requirements are met.
• Participating in overall enterprise architecture and product delivery strategy.
• Ensuring resolution of roadblocks in the DevOps process by supporting the developers, QA, and release management.

Required Skills

• Excellent hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools.
• Proficient with Git and Git workflows.
• Proficient in developing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
• Excellent hands-on expertise automating the entire software delivery process through CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in AWS or other public cloud platform
• Expertise in Kubernetes cluster management
• Takes operational responsibility; delegates; raises awareness of projects at risk or people problems.
• Able to deploy, configure, monitor, and diagnose cloud services and SaaS applications.
• Experience with programming languages and tools such as Python, Terraform, Go Lang. PowerShell is a plus.
• Experience in Serverless deployment on the cloud

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with the Microsoft stack, including .NET, SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server 2008+.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as DevOps Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
