You will:

• Solicit, manage, and edit docs contributions from others (product, customer experience, engineering, sales, marketing, etc) throughout the company

• Define, govern, and enforce information architecture, content type templates, style guidance, and taxonomy within the docs

• Author new content to convey challenging and complex ideas, concepts, and tasks in an understandable way

• Educate contributors on docs processes and best practices

• Advocate for the end user

• Research and become familiar with our tech stack to a degree that you can provide meaningful guidance and feedback: OpenAPI, gRPC, Go, JavaScript, SQL

You must have:

• A strong sense of curiosity and eagerness to dive into the unknown

• Proven experience building programs that actively encourage and shepherd non-writer contributions to docs

• Experience conveying challenging, complex ideas, concepts, and tasks in an understandable way which appeals to diverse audiences, especially the developer persona

• Strong technical editing skills

• Strong collaboration, interviewing, and communication skills

You should have:

• Experience with AI-first content authoring workflows

• Experience with Docs as Code workflows

• Experience defining and enforcing information architectures, content types, style guidance, and taxonomies
