Engagement Manager (EM)
Tennr
About Tennr:
When you go to your doctor and need to be referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends a fax (yes, in 2024, 90% of provider-provider communication is a 1980s fax). These are often converted into 20+ page PDFs, with handwritten (doctor’s handwriting!) notes, in thousands of different formats. The problem is so complex that a person has to read it, type it up, and manually enter your information. Tennr built RaeLLM™ (7B—trained on 3M+ documents) to read these docs, talk to your doc to ensure nothing is missed, and text you to help schedule your appointment so you can get better, faster.
Tennr is a NYC-based tech company that launched out of Y-Combinator and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Foundation Capital, The New Normal Fund, and other top investors.
What You’ll Do
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, providing consistent updates on project statuses, milestones, and challenges to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
Collaborate Cross-functionally: Collaborate directly with the Solutions team to analyze, plan, and document project requirements, standards, and schedules to ensure project success. Work closely with Product & Eng & Integrations to ensure clients are aware of any feature rollouts & optimizations.
Onboarding and Implementation: You will own one of the most important metrics — how fast & well our customers launch their first Tennr workers and get value from Tennr. Through this process you will also have the joy of teaching your customers the ins and outs of the Tennr Platform and see many ‘wow’ factor moments!
Strategy and Adoption: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure customers are fully trained on Tennr, positioning them for successful adoption and long-term engagement.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for each project, including requirements, configurations, and user guides.
Impact Our Product Roadmap: As the steward of Tennr’s customer relationships, everyone else at Tennr will want a piece of you! In particular, you will partner closely with our engineering, design and product team to share synthesized customer feedback and work with them to incorporate it in the development of new features.
Travel: 0-25% Travel will be required for on-site implementations around the US for strategic & large accounts.
What You’ll Bring
Passion for Tennr: The most important thing you’ll bring to the table. Loving Tennr is easy, but you need to genuinely be Tennr’s #1 fan to thrive in this position as you will spend a lot of time in the product and be responsible for helping customers feel the same passion you do.
Customer-Facing Experience: You’ve had 4+ years working directly with customers in prior roles in consulting, project management, program management, or implementation consulting.
Communication: Clearly be able to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences and navigate complicated issues with proper stakeholder communication & management. Strong presentation ability accompanied with excellent verbal & written skills.
Domain Expertise: You can walk the walk and talk the talk of all things B2B SaaS and software implementations. Major bonus points for prior experience in American healthcare ops or top-tier consulting for healthcare practices.
Project Management: You have a proven ability to juggle and project manage multiple projects in parallel with exceptional organizational skills.
“Start-Up” Work Ethic: You thrive in an unstructured start-up environment (lack of process does not frustrate you) with a strong sense of urgency & accountability.
Bonus: You are certified with a PMP Certification, Lean Six Sigma, and/or MBA
