About the Role
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in executing Tennr’s growth strategy by managing day-to-day partnership and business development operations. You’ll support our integration, referral, and strategic alliance efforts—ensuring smooth execution across the board.
This is an execution-heavy role with exposure to strategic initiatives. You’ll manage partner relationships, coordinate across internal teams, track performance, and support the creation of BD materials and co-marketing campaigns. You’ll be essential to ensuring our partnerships deliver value, run smoothly, and align with Tennr’s broader objectives.
Location: New York, NY (Manhattan) – Onsite 4 days/week
Travel: Occasional trips to industry events and partner sites
Reports to: Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO)
Dotted line to: Vice President of Product
What You’ll Do
Execute BD & Partnership Plans: Drive execution of Tennr’s integration, referral, and alliance strategies
Manage & Support Partner Relationships: Onboard, support, and maintain strong relationships with key partners
Support Strategic Initiatives: Track and manage progress across BD projects and cross-functional efforts
Optimize BD Operations & Processes: Own CRM hygiene (Salesforce) and reporting; help define and improve BD workflows, documentation, and handoffs.
Create BD & Marketing Materials: Help build and distribute partner-facing collateral and internal comms
Support Go-to-Market Execution: Coordinate GTM activity with Sales and Marketing for co-branded campaigns
Track Partnership KPIs: Monitor partner performance, report on metrics, and flag improvement areas
Coordinate Events & Meetings: Assist in planning for industry events and strategic partner meetings
What You’ll Bring
Business Development/Partnership Support Experience: A strong track record of successfully supporting business development initiatives, partnership programs, or sales operations, with a focus on execution and achieving operational goals, ideally in B2B enterprise SaaS or health IT.
Healthcare Technology Familiarity (Preferred): General understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including EHRs, healthcare workflows, or RCM.
Organizational & Project Coordination Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, track project deliverables, maintain detailed records, and coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.
Operational Execution & Process Focus: Demonstrated experience in executing operational plans, supporting complex projects, and contributing to process improvements.
BD/Sales Operations Experience: Familiarity with supporting business development or sales operations, including CRM management (e.g., Salesforce) and performance reporting.
Key Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven with a strong focus on execution. Thrives in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing operational tasks and supporting team objectives.
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and professionally, build rapport, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Collaborative Team Player: Eager to support team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
