The primary role, responsibilities and duties are:

• Hands on experience in both manual and automation
• Ability to analyze use-cases, stories, and overall system design and develop test cases
• Experience testing all layers of a web application, including front-end, service layer, and back-end testing/API testing
• Tests and re-tests user stories and issues found in a timely manner
• Hands-on working experience on JMeter, Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor automation tools
• Work closely with UX Engineers, Developers, and other QA team members in ensuring high-quality products
• Influence key Go/No-Go decisions on product readiness for releases
• Review all product artifacts related to testing (e.g. plans, requirements, specifications, tests, test results, traceability, design reviews, reports, automation, etc.)
• Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude

Education and/or Experience

• Hands-on experience testing all layers of a web application, including front-end, service layer, and back-end testing/API testing
• 5+ years of testing Web-based applications using Automation scripts especially Selenium, Protractor
• Experience with automation testing tools (JMeter, Selenium, Postman, etc.)
• Exposure to scripting languages – Python/Shell
• Thorough understanding of QA processes in agile development cycles
• Proficient with JIRA, bug tracking and test management tools
• Experience testing REST APIs
• Knowledge of Database queries and SQL
• Ability to analyze use-cases, stories, and overall system design and develop test cases
